About the League

The Sportime Padel League is a year-long, professionally organized tournament circuit featuring 10 official events plus a Grand Final. Hosted across top clubs in Nicosia, Limassol, and Larnaca, players compete in ranked divisions to climb the leaderboard and qualify for the season finale. Powered by Dias Media Group and run by Spazio on the Padel Hub platform, the league offers a premium playing experience with media coverage, prizes, and national recognition.

Points System

Players earn individual ranking points based on how far their team advances in each tournament. Points are specific to each division and accumulate throughout the season:

Match Format

  • Group Stage & R16: Best of 2 sets to 4 games, tie-break to 7 at 1–1
  • QFs & SFs: 2 sets to 6 games, super tie-break to 10 if tied
  • Final: Best of 3 full sets
  • Golden Point Rule at deuce

🏅 Grand Final

The top 16 players per division qualify for the Grand Final in May 2026. Team pairings are based on most frequent partners or ranking compatibility.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Simply register for any of the 10 league tournaments, just like you would for a regular event. Every tournament you play will earn you personal ranking points, which will determine your qualification for the Master Finals at the end of the season.

Points are based on your team’s performance in each tournament. Both players in the team receive the same points at the end of the event.

No — you can join as few as one tournament or as many as all ten. However, the more events you play, the more points you can collect, increasing your chances of qualifying for the Master Finals.

Yes. Points are awarded to individual players, so you can play with different partners in different events. That said, we recommend competing with the partner you’d like to play with in the finals to improve your combined ranking.

Rankings will be updated and visible at all times through the Padel Hub app and also on Sportime’s website.

No — each individual tournament will have its own prizes and trophies for the winners, as announced in the Padel Hub tournament details.

Your fee gives you:

  • - Entry into one of the best padel leagues on the island.
  • - An official league T-shirt.

  • - Friday & Saturday: Group stage matches.
  • - Sunday: Knockout rounds leading to the finals.

At the end of the 10 tournaments:

  • - Top 16 players in the rankings qualify for the Advanced Finals.
  • - Next 16 players qualify for the Intermediates Finals.
  • - Next 16 players qualify for the Beginners Finals.
  • - Top 16 women qualify for the Women’s Finals.

The Master Final, which will be broadcast on Sigma TV.

No — the qualified 16 players per category must form pairs from within their group of qualifiers. Priority will be given to your usual partner from the season.
